What BuilderXPro is
BuilderXPro is construction management software for Indian builders and contractors. It is an ERP and a CRM on one database, covering the whole job from first enquiry to final handover.
The practical definition is more useful than the category label. Most contractors run their business across WhatsApp, Excel and Tally, and none of those three talk to each other. So the site knows one number, purchase knows another, and accounts discovers the truth at month end — by which point the money is spent.
BuilderXPro puts those functions on one database. Recording a goods receipt on site updates the stock, the project cost and the vendor ledger in the same moment. That single property — one action changing every dependent number — is what separates an ERP from a collection of apps.
Not BuilderX.io — a common mix-up
Worth clearing up early, because the names collide in search results.
- BuilderX.io is a design and prototyping tool that generates React code. It is for software developers and designers. Unrelated company, unrelated product.
- BuilderXPro is construction management software for people who build buildings.
If you arrived looking for a React design tool, this is not it. If you are a contractor who searched “BuilderX” and found a design tool, you probably wanted this page. The full product name is always BuilderXPro, written as two words plus Pro.
Who builds it
BuilderXPro is made by Isotect Sturdy Construction Private Limited, a construction company registered in Karnataka, India, with a working office in Bangalore and a registered office in Shimoga.
That matters more than it sounds. The software was built by a company that runs sites, to solve problems it had itself — which is why the data model uses indents, GRNs, RA bills, retention and measurement books rather than generic “tasks” and “expenses”. Software companies entering construction usually get the vocabulary right and the sequence wrong.
What it replaces
In most companies that adopt it, BuilderXPro takes over from some combination of:
- WhatsApp groups used for indents, approvals and site updates — where instructions get lost and nobody can say who approved what
- Excel registers for stock, vendor balances, labour attendance and petty cash
- Paper muster rolls and measurement books
- A separate CRM or notebook for enquiries and follow-ups

1. Web application
Eleven connected modules: projects and scheduling, estimation and BOQ, CRM and quotations, materials and procurement, work orders and sub-contractor billing, vendors, client invoicing, expenses, accounts with GST and TDS, HR and attendance, and approvals with audit logs.
2. Mobile app
Android and iOS, for site teams. Daily progress reports, material indents, goods receipt with photographs, GPS attendance, and site expenses. Built to tolerate weak signal — see the mobile app.
3. BuilderX Studio
A desktop CAD application for 2D drafting, 3D modelling and structural design, with quantity takeoff that feeds the same project. Sold separately and usable standalone.
4. Customer portal
Your client logs in under your branding to see progress, approvals, payment schedule and documents — which removes a large share of the “what is the status” phone calls.
Who it suits — and who it does not
Being straight about the second half is more useful than a feature list.
It suits you if
- You run two or more sites at once — the clearest trigger, because one site fits in one person’s head and two do not
- More than one person can commit spend
- You cannot tell closing stock at a site without a phone call
- You have lost margin on a project and could not pinpoint where
- Payroll disputes recur because attendance is ambiguous
It probably does not suit you if
- You run one site, approve everything personally, and your CA handles the books comfortably. A focused site app is lighter and cheaper, and buying an ERP you will not use is a cost rather than an upgrade.
- You want only drawings. BuilderX Studio is sold on its own for that.
- You need heavy plant, production and machinery modules for large infrastructure. That is a different category of ERP.
What it costs
Pricing is per organisation, not per user, and every plan runs the company day to day — tiers differ by how many people you run, with the finance depth (books, bank reconciliation, Tally export) on Business. Plans run from a single-user tier up to unlimited users on Enterprise, with a free trial and no card required to start.
Rather than restate figures that change, see current pricing. All prices exclude 18% GST, and paying yearly is materially cheaper than monthly.
